BC Proteomics & Metabolomics Network

OUR NETWORK

01 / About Us

The British Columbia (BC) Proteomics & Metabolomics Network comprises all the laboratories and facilities within our province engaged in proteomics and metabolomics research. Originally established in 2007 as the BC Proteomics Network, the initiative received initial support from the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research Platform grant to advance proteomics research in BC. Over the years, the network has evolved to encompass laboratories involved in metabolomics as well.

A key initiative of the network has been the organization of an annual symposium since 2008. This event serves as a platform to foster discussion and facilitate the exchange of information and methodologies among diverse research groups.

Currently, the network is overseen by a steering committee consisting of Drs. David Goodlett (UViC), Tao Huan (UBC), Yvonne Lamers (UBC), Philipp Lange (BC Children), Thibault Mayor (UBC), Sandi Spencer (BC Cancer), and Bingyun Sun (SFU). If you require more information about our network or are interested in exploring potential partnerships, please do not hesitate to contact us.
